Underground archaeological Museum is located in the territory of one of the oldest cities in the world – Jaffa, directly on the square Kedumim. The Museum is located in the former administrative home.
In the years of the Declaration of Israel as an independent country, this complex was declared an archaeological site. From a historical point of view and architecture of the Museum is a one of a kind.
In the Museum there are exhibits of the excavations of Judah Agronomist. Visiting the Museum, You will enjoy a wonderful collection of artifacts, frescoes on the walls, the first messages carved in stone – all this immerses us in the era in ancient time.
The Museum also features ancient tools, jewelry, household items of the era of Ramses II (15th century BC) which were discovered here during excavations. An interesting fact is that excavations continue to this day, delighting visitors with new exhibits.
An underground archaeological Museum was founded by the famous archaeologist, carrying out work in Jaffa - Dr. Kaplan.
